Fellowships in Psychiatry

We are pleased to offer the opportunity for four full medical fellowships in Psychiatry. This is a two-year structured programme is designed to support experienced, overseas psychiatrists to gain an understanding and experience of working in the NHS.The programme creates the perfect opportunity for International Fellows to learn, develop whilst working alongside highly experience medical colleagues and other clinical professionals.

LPT is able to offer direct sponsorship through the GMC and will work with you to make your transition into the NHS as easy as possible.

Our processes will ensure assessment of each applicant to ensure that they meet the entry requirements as stipulated in our GMC Sponsorship commitment.

The International Clinical Fellowship Scheme aims to enrol IMGs who have already completed a postgraduate degree in mental health in their home countries. The candidates therefore would already be trained psychiatrists and would have achieved the necessary competencies in the discipline of mental health to enable them to practice safely within our services.
