Warehouse Picker and Packer

Role Overview & Responsibilities

LimbTex Ltd is a leading supplier to the NHS, private contractors and private clinics in the UK. We also export our materials to over 40 countries and have a rapidly growing distributor network.

Jobdescription : In principle, the role is to work in our warehouse, picking and packing but if someone has the right skill set there is chance that they could advance within the business.

This is a fast-paced environment where speed and accuracy are essential. There is a lot of manual handling, so applicants must be physically fit.

Tasks / responsibilities will include:

• Picking and packing orders.
• Decanting/repacking.
• Loading and unloading lorries/vans.
• Completing paperwork.
• Unpacking stock and checking in and restocking shelves.
• Daily tidying of the warehouses.
• Follow instruction/procedures and work in a safe, efficient manner.

Skills/Qualifications

• Organise and prioritise.
• Communicate to a good standard.
• Recognize that attention to detail is paramount.
• Ability to multitask.
• Demonstrate good levels of practicality/manual skills.
• Must be able to work independently but also importantly work as part of a team.
• Good levels of Maths and English.
• Must be reliable, professional and punctual.
• Having a counterbalance forklift licence is not essential but would be an advantage.
• At least 2 years of experience in a warehouse environment is required.

Hours of work will be from 8:00am to 4.30pm Monday to Thursday and 8.00am to 4.00pm on Friday with 30 min lunch break. Start date: Immediate Applicants must be legally entitled to work full time in the UK.
