Human Resource Assistant Rota Co-ordinator
Role Overview & Responsibilities

The Role involves:
Reporting to the HR team leader you will be able to provide assistance with the HR function and administrative services for staff.
Duties will include:
- Plan and issue staffing rotas and organise cover for planned and unplanned absences,
- Analyse time and attendance systems, prepare and input all data required for submission to the payroll bureau.
- General Admin duties
- Working with the HR Team Leader collate, issue and accurately maintain the full range of documents and records associated with the HR function.
- Prepare for and assist the HR Team Leader with the selection and interviewing of staff.
- Assist with preparation for disciplinary procedures, note taking at hearings and subsequent typing of minutes. Participate in investigations as required.
- Working with the HR Team Leader to communicate and meet with Managers to identify and resolve staff related problems.
- Be responsible for personal up-dating in current HR Practices and Procedures.
- Undertake any ad hoc projects consistent with the level and nature of the post
Requirements are:
· Good general education to GCSE level
· Experience of working in a complex administrative role within an HR environment.
· Experience of Payroll.
· Experience of recruitment and selection.
· Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
· Awareness of relevant employment legislation as it is related to the role.
· Experience of supporting managers across a range of HR issues such as sickness absence matters

Salary: £12.00 per hour
Hours: 22.5 hours over 3 days per week, which must include Monday and Friday
