Role Overview & Responsibilities

The Junior Videographer is an extremely well organised, methodical, and self-motivated individual. The candidate must be able to remain calm under pressure, learn and develop within a fast paced, high-pressured environment.


Mash Media talk to event professionals around the world, every day through our print and online publications. We also meet them face to face, via our live events and exhibitions; Mash Media owns three of the biggest event-based exhibitions in the UK. This means that everyday Mash Media is providing forums for events professionals to benchmark, develop, share, learn and sell through our brands.


Working Week

Monday to Friday

09:00-17:00

Total hours: 37.5


Salary

12k per year


Responsibilities

  • Setting up production equipment at our shows and events
  • Transporting equipment to various venues for filming
  • Video editing/post-production editing
  • Filming video productions using associated production equipment/using video production equipment
  • Using video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro/Adobe After Effects
  • Producing highlight videos, interviews, and short form video content
  • Adding graphics, visual effects, and closed captioning
  • Simultaneously manage multiple projects
  • Attending video shoots, using camera equipment and gimbals
  • Uploading content to the company YouTube channel
  • Maintaining the equipment inventory
  • Collaborating with all members of staff
  • Monitoring field audio whilst on set

Skills and Qualities

  • A willingness to learn the full production process from script to screen
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Good technology understanding across IT and production equipment
  • Strong organisational and administrative skills
  • Excellent time management and prioritisation skills
  • Meticulous attention to details
  • Positive, enthusiastic approach and works on own initiative

Essential Qualifications

Maths or English at GCSE grade A-C (4-9)
