Role Overview & Responsibilities

Due to practice growth and expansion, we are looking for a reliable, hardworking and enthusiastic Dental Receptionist to join our team of 30 at Lockerbie Dental

Lockerbie Dental provides the highest standard of care to our patients including the provision of general and cosmetic dentistry, implants, orthodontics, hygienist service, oral surgery and facial aesthetics. We are a Specialist Orthodontic Clinic and accept referrals for all Specialist Orthodontic treatment including Invisalign.

We have an in house training facility and provide a variety of internal CPD courses that are fully funded. Our commitment to training, education and mentorship will allow the right candidate to gain additional skills within dentistry.

The job role includes being the first point of contact to our patients; providing excellence in service at all times. This will include answering the telephone, managing the appointment diary, dealing with enquiries and networking with other colleagues to facilitate patient care.

The candidate must be honest, have excellent communication skills and telephone manner and be highly skilled in working with computer software such as microsoft word and excel.

Previous experience within dentistry is preferred.
