Role Overview & Responsibilities

Established over 50 years ago, we are one of the first Chinese supermarkets in the UK. We are now a landmark in London, supplying oriental foods to the growing cosmopolitan population in London area. we are looking for a General Assistant -Produce, so if you wish to be considered for this superb opportunity click ‘apply’.General Duties would include:

• Cut, weigh, wrap fresh fruits and vegetables, and put products on the shelves with the correct price label
• Be aware of any product that is out of stock and report to the store management team immediately
• Ensure the department to be organised according to the company’s visual merchandising standards·
• Ensure the company’s First In First Out procedures (date rotation principles) are followed ·
• Work with other colleagues to process and receive deliveries. This includes checking the quantity and quality, organising and placing the stocks neatly. ·
• Review pricing of all fruits and vegetables in relation to sales records and make amendments as needed ·
• Work with other colleagues to keep your working area clean and organised·
• Report all safety hazards and risk factors to a member of the store management team without delay in comply with the Company’s Health and Safety guidelines at all times ·
• Take initiative and support other departments when needed or when requested by store management team
