Role Overview & Responsibilities

We are recruiting for a picture framer to work in our busy framing workshop at our Brompton on Swale Headquarters.

As part of a small team your work will be varied. You will be involved in framing individual bespoke items for customers, producing framed and finished artwork and ready-made frames for our retail galleries. You will also be working on wholesale orders which are supplied to our network of trade and commercial customers.

We are looking for a team player with attention to detail and a good work ethic to succeed in this busy and rewarding role.

Picture framing experience is desired; however, we do offer full training so would encourage applicants who have transferable skills gained from working in other manufacturing / production positions.

Main Responsibilities:

• Make and assemble frames to customer specifications.
• Mount Cutting, Glazing, Fitting, and finishing of artwork.
• Operating of framing equipment.
• Taking in deliveries of materials.
• Helping with the day-to-day operation of a framing workshop
• Preparing and packing customer orders for onward shipping.
• Assisting in company stock-takes.

• The ability to follow both defined processes and procedures and work unsupervised.
• Confidence in using workshop machinery and hand-held tools.
• Familiar with computer mount cutting and software.
• A positive, problem-solving attitude.
• Work well under pressure.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: From £11.00 per hour
