Distribution Apprentice - LWC Drinks (Stoke)

Role Overview & Responsibilities

LWC Drinks are the largest independent and fastest growing drinks wholesaler in the country. They operate out of 15 depots nationwide, stocking 6,500 products, including draught beers, wines, spirits and soft drinks. This role incorporates study and completion of level 2 Warehouse Operative whilst working at a LWC Drinks working in LWC Drinks Depot. This role involves working as a team to ensure the smooth and efficient running of the warehouse, undertaking basic warehousing duties.

Main duties include:

• Gerneral administration duties
• Planning the drivers daily routes
• Organising daily delivery notes
• Picking orders for delivery
• Preparing orders for delivery
• Learning and using the pallet truck (either electric or manual)
• Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
• Completing a level 2 Warehouse Apprenticeship within deadlines

Please note this role is based in an office not the warehouse.

You will be completing a Level 2 Warehouse Apprenticeship.

Working hours – Monday – Friday (either 7am – 3pm or 12pm – 8pm)

40 hours per week (weekend working required on a rota basis)

Desired Qualifications –

• Maths & English (A*-C/9-4)
• Functional skills can be completed as part of the apprenticeship.
