Role Overview & Responsibilities

Lynn Recruitment is working with a newly refurbished eatery and garden terrace currently seeking an experienced Sous Chef to join their skilled culinary team.

Main Duties:

• To be responsible for the mis-en-place of the Bar Kitchen as for their particular section
• To be responsible for the kitchen service.
• To develop and maintain positive and productive working relationships with the rest of the brigade and other colleagues
• To maintain a high standard of kitchen cleanliness and hygiene practice
• To take ownership of all Kitchen operations while on duty ensuring all service is on time, and co-ordinate the processes involved to ensure optimal delivery.
• To ensure all ingredients are ordered in the correct quantities to ensure best price and yet prevent wastage.
• Working closely with the General Manager on strategy and growth of the

food operation and menu development.

Person Specification:

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Maintaining high standards of personal hygiene and appearance.
• High level of attention to detail
• A great passion for delivering great food.

Remuneration and Conditions of Employment:

• Full Time, Permanent
• Experience as a Sous Chef in a similar environment with a genuine

desire to please our customers and deliver great tasting, well presented
dishes.

• An excellent track record in kitchen management, food safety and

complete confidence in EHO legislation and the ability to maintain
standards of hygiene, stock rotation and organisation
