working in the quarry industry delivering quarry products for tarmac plc

We are looking for an experienced Truck Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for safely transporting goods from one location to another, following all applicable laws and regulations. The ideal candidate will have a valid driver's license, a good driving record, and experience with long-haul trucking. The successful candidate will also be able to handle paperwork related to the job, such as manifests and delivery receipts.

Responsibilities:

• Have a valid commercial driver's license (CDL).
• Follow all applicable safety regulations and laws.
• Inspect and maintain vehicle to ensure it is in good working order.
• Load and unload cargo safely and securely.
• Keep accurate records of trips, including miles driven, fuel consumption, and any problems encountered on the road.
• Communicate with dispatch to receive instructions and coordinate deliveries.
• Maintain a safe driving record.
• mpqc qualification card required but training can be arranged

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: £152.00-£160.00 per day
