General Labourer

Role Overview & Responsibilities

Mainty Group are looking for a Labourer to support with our continuing Projects. Our services consist of major planned refurbishment works, domestic and commercial, larger repairs & occasional responsive repairs. Due to the high demand and expanse off the company we are looking for several Multi Trades People in the South Wales and West region.

Duties & requirements

• Experience and proven track record within the construction and building industry.
• Experience being a labourer on sites and understanding the work required.
• Experience in other trades such as basic carpentry, plumbing, painting and decorating is desirable
• Current Health and Safety Training is required however we will consider candidates without on the basis that we will arrange for them to complete this on joining.
• All levels of experience will be considered we are keen to seek out those that are passionate about what they do and can deliver high quality workmanship.
• Maintain effective working relationships with internal and external Clients and customers.
• Maintain a safe environment for site staff and residents.
• Be smart in appearance as we are customer facing

Business Qualifications & Experience

• Good organisational skills
• All levels of experience will be considered; we are keen to seek out those that are passionate about what they do and can deliver high quality workmanship.
• Ability to work under own initiative and under pressure and to work as part of team
• Full clean driving licence
• Ability to work closely with outside /contractors

Salary: From £14.00 per hour

• Newport, Newport: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:

• Construction: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

• Driving Licence (preferred)
