Role Overview & Responsibilities

Manchester Stairs Limited is a Timber Staircase Manufacturing company based in Ashton-Under-Lyne. An opportunity has arisen for a hard-working individual to join our busy workshop.

Duties will include helping with the process of manufacturing hand-made staircases, working with hand tools and large machinery, while keeping the workshop clean and tidy.

Some experience is needed, with a knowledge of hand tools and someone who is willing to learn the different aspects of the joinery process in the manufacturing of staircases and components; however, training will be provided upon employment along with the correct PPE and steel toe work boots needed within the workshop.

Working hours will be: Monday – Thursday : 07.30 – 17.00 and Friday : 07.30 - 14.00

Interviews will be held before hiring.

New Employees will be on a 3-month trial period at the beginning of employment before they receive a contract with us.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: £5.28-£10.50 per hour
