Teacher for Autism Provision within a Mainstream School

Full Time Permanent

Salary: £34,502 - £44,456

(M1 to M6 including Inner London Allowance)

Required for September 2023

Marlborough Primary School is a ‘good’ school working towards being ‘outstanding’. We are seeking to appoint a talented and suitably experienced practitioner who can join the team in our specialist 20 place provision specifically designed for primary aged children with autism.

You will:

· have a clear understanding of and willingness to learn about effective teaching and how to raise and sustain achievement in autism provision

· be an excellent communicator who is able to engage effectively with the children, parents/carers and staff on a daily basis

· be committed to inclusion and building close working relationships with the mainstream school

· have a proven track record of exemplary practice across the primary age range and have an interest for working with autistic children.

· be able to ensure high quality provision for children

· have the skills to work within a highly successful and motivated team and liaise with a wide range of outside agencies

· be committed to making a difference in our inclusive school where morale is high and staff have high expectations of themselves and the pupils
