Role Summary

• Manage stores in accordance with Marlin Environmental Services Quality Procedures, ensuring equipment store, chemical store and yard are managed and comply with environmental, quality and health and safety procedures.
• Set-up and maintain stores database ensuring the timely updating of equipment, stock and purchasing records in accordance with Marlin Environmental Services Quality Procedures.

Key Responsibilities and Task

• Operate stores in accordance with Marlin Environmental Services Quality Procedures
• Gain & maintain full understanding of company’s quality processes and procedures, working practices and MAR packs for particular tasks
• Ensure high-quality cleanliness and tidiness of the yard at all times and complete weekly inspection sheets
• Sign in/out and monitor of equipment, chemicals and materials
• Assist Managers and staff to equip projects and works efficiently
• Monitor & manage chemical & stock levels
• Arrange service and calibration of equipment, ensuring it is in date and ready for use at all times
• Monitor and advise on repairs required for equipment, including the Quarantine system, informing management team of any long lead times
• Conduct stock checks and allow adequate notice to be given to Management/office administrator to ensure no depletion of stock
• Understand the importance of risk assessments, safe systems and COSHH regulations is paramount to ensure safe working of store and yard
• Visit customer premises and suppliers
• Responsible for PPE and company equipment
• Responsible for yours and others Health & Safety

Skills & Experience

• Ability to understand and monitor calibration and maintenance of all equipment in accordance with PUWER regulations
• Comprehensive understanding of the importance of maintaining stocks of materials and chemicals
• Hold a current, clean driving licence

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £22,000.00-£24,000.00 per year
