General Kitchen Assistant

Role Overview & Responsibilities

The hours are 10 hours per week, term time only. The annual salary is pro rata so will reflect the number of hours worked each week. You will assist in the basic preparation of food and refreshments. This may include some cooking and cleaning of the kitchen/dining rooms and kitchen equipment. Duties will include the preparation of the dining rooms including the erection and dismantling of dining room furniture. The post is covered by Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) and therefore the ability to speak fluent and spoken English is essential. The successful candidate will be subject to pre-employment checks including an enhanced DBS. No particular education or work experience is necessary but the ability to work in a team, follow instructs to ensure the smooth running of the kitchen is essential. Applicants will be required to completed a Birmingham City Council application form.

Pay: £20,258.00-£20,812.00 per year
