House Butler

Role Overview & Responsibilities

We are looking for an experienced and professional House Butler/Steward (with a strong history of serving UHNWI) for a private household based in Mayfair.

Key Responsibilities:

1.F&B Service- To ensure the highest level of service throughout the allocated areas within the residence, responsible for achieving guest’s needs and demands. To ensure that all “mis-en-place” are always prepared and ready for utilization. Post dinner service, closedown procedures, switch off the lights, candles, and music.

2.Food Service Area Cleaning & Silver Polishing- Daily Cleaning of each Food & Beverage areas as per the cleaning schedule, which includes reception area, living room, dining room, Kitchen etc. Maintain cleaning schedule and complete any tasks assigned by the House manager.

3.Financial Management- All purchase receipts, should be reconciled and explained as per instruction, with prior approval on expense sought from line management. Utilize the existing par levels for all items ordered and ensure the appropriate department is informed if supplies are running low.

4.Procurement- Perishable items to be checked daily & Non-perishable items to be checked once in a week, inform line manager of any products that are expired or close to expiration,

5.Health & Safety- Follows H&S policies and safe work procedures all the time. Report any H&S hazard immediately. Always maintain smart appearance on shift.

6.Driving- Ensuring vehicle is well maintained, cleaned and refuelled. Being flexible and ready to drive at any point of time during service.Booking cars in for repairs whenever necessary, under the guidance of the Operations Manager.

7.Inventory- To ensure all allocated monthly and asset inventories are up-to-date

8.Other Responsibilities-Escorting family on shopping trips, restaurants etc.Arranging restaurant bookings, holding tables, cinemas, doctor appointments etc.

Qualifications:

1. Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in similar role in a private household

2. Ability to anticipate needs and provide exceptional service.

3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

4. Discretion and confidentiality

5. Flexibility to work on weekends and holidays if required.

6. Can drive

Salary: £40000-£45000 per annum

Early joiners are preferred.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: From £40,000.00 per year
