Role Overview & Responsibilities

As a Commercial Contracts Manager within the Management Consulting team you will be involved in all aspects of project delivery. You will contribute to and underpin the management of client engagements working closely with senior representatives of client organisations. In addition to working with Management Consulting and other colleagues in the delivery of projects in the above areas, you will proactively seek and steer the conversion of opportunities to develop the Management Consulting team.

Role & Responsibilities

This role is for an ambitious and driven professional, who can work alongside our existing Commercial Advisory team to grow a profitable business portfolio, develop collaborative relationships with our clients, understand their needs and help to find a bespoke solution.

  • Experience in a field such as commercial management, contract management, procurement and subcontractor's and supplier's management.
  • A good understanding of the effective contract management practices and ability to roll out respective processes and procedures for Mazars clients (Renewable Energy, Hydrogen and Infrastructure projects are the main focus)
  • Experience in conducting detailed commercial assurance, assessment of contract performance and undertaking cost management reviews of various contracts including major infrastructure projects and PFI contracts with support from the wider multi-skilled team
  • Experience in using standard contract forms.

  • Strong contracting and contract management experience.
  • Excellent commercial acumen and business understanding.
  • Ability to identify issues and areas for improvement through analysis.
  • Team orientated, with strong relationship and interpersonal skills.
  • Client or senior stakeholder-facing experience.
