COLLECTION & DELIVERY DRIVER
Menzies Distribution are looking for a Collections and Delivery Driver to join our team. You’ll be working on behalf of Menzies Distribution Limited and its customers. Providing a first class service with our team in Fort William this role is based on a basic 45-50hrs hour week working Monday – Friday (06:00 – 16:30).
COLLECTION & DELIVERY DRIVER DUTIES:
- Check the quality of packed orders
- Manually unload and upload parcels for delivery (inc pallets)
- Make sure the vehicle is loaded safely and within the legislation
- Ensure parcels are delivered or collected to/from residential and commercial customers safely, efficiently and on time
- Ensure security of the vehicle and goods contained during transit
- Complete all documentation as per company procedure
- Keep the warehouse safe, clean and tidy
- Adhere to company procedures and policies
COLLECTION & DELIVERY DRIVER REQUIREMENTS
- Held a full and valid UK Drivers Licence for a minimum of 3 years
- No previous disqualifications for NI, DD or DR
- Familiarity with most of the streets and commercial addresses
- Physically fit to meet the demands of a multi-drop driving role
- Hardworking, positive and a flexible attitude to work
- Undergo a DBS background check.
