Role Overview & Responsibilities

We are looking for a Breakfast and Bar Waiter/waitress to join our Breakfast team here at Mercure London Bloomsbury

Are you an early morning person? Do you want to help create a memorable experience for someone first thing in the day?

• Meet, greet and service all guests in a friendly manner
• Ensure tables are re-laid continual basis
• Ensure our guests receive a great service and experience
• Ensure the Restaurant/Bar areas are tidy, clean and well maintained at all times
• Follow all hotel health and safety procedures and statutory procedures
• Make sure all service prep is ready in advance; including table set-up, cutlery, napkins, salt and pepper filled, etc.
• To work collaboratively as a team and help each other where necessary.
• Anticipates guest’s needs and provide them with a personalised, crafted experience.
• To feel empowered to make a decision that will enhance the guest experience or defuse any complaints which may arise.
• To demonstrate a positive and proactive approach to work.
• Communicate effectively with the team at all times.

Job Types: Full-time, Zero hours contract

Salary: £11.00 per hour
