Role Overview & Responsibilities

Meridian Business Support are currently on the look out for Plumbers and Pipefitters to start on a permanent basis based out of the Oldham/Rochdale area but who are willing to work away. Ideal candidates will be working nationwide on various commercial projects and will require a Blue or Gold skills card.

Company Description:
Our client is a privately run company based in the North West, with over 20 years’ experience in the industry. They provide a comprehensive range of services, including, full commercial Mechanical packages ranging from hospitals, schools and MOD sites.

As a Plumber / Pipefitter You will form a key part of the business, travelling from site to site working alongside other Plumbers, Pipefitters and Site Managers.

Main Duties & Responsibilities:
Pipework mainly crimped or screwed
Plant Rooms
Waste (all solvent weld)
Sanitary
1st Fix
Bathrooms & Bedrooms

Role Requirements:
Willingness to travel to fulfil the requirements of the post
Experience in commercial fit outs (Schools, Hospitals)
Full driving licence
CSCS Blue/Gold

Overtime is paid after 40 hours (time & half after 40 hours, Sunday's paid at double time)

£18 per night meal allowance Pay:
£36,400 (Basic) based off a 40 hour week. This excludes any overtime rates, digs or meal allowances. Hours vary from 40 to 60 per week.
