Role Overview & Responsibilities

Are you an experienced Warehouse Operative looking for a busy role within a team focused environment where you don't have to work weekends or evenings ?

A leading manufacturer and supplier of high quality hardware products for the construction sector are seeking an experienced and self-motivated Warehouse Operative to join their friendly, hardworking goods in and quality control team. The role will involve ensuring accuracy and quality of goods being booked into the ERP system, and that they are put away correctly in the right place to ensure quality is maintained as well.

As Warehouse Operative your role will involve:
Checking all goods received from suppliers - ensuring correct quantity
Packaging goods to be put away correctly
Entering items received onto the ERP system
Processing customer returns
Notifying suppliers of any delivery / stock received issues
I am interested in speaking with an experienced and team focused Warehouse Operative, Warehouse Assistant, Goods In Operative, Warehouse Associate, Stores Assistant, or Stores Operative who possesses a high attention to detail and ideally experience / understanding of stock control / Warehouse Management Systems / ERP systems (e.g. SAP, Oracle, Navision, MS Dynamics, Sage).

Salary £22,000 to £25,000 p.a.

The role will initially be based at their offices in Croydon where there is free parking and easy transport links via bus if needed.

Within the next 4 months, the business will be relocating to bigger new offices in the north Crawley area, which has transport links via bus and train as well as lots of free parking on-site. The journey is very easy from the Croydon area: East Croydon to Gatwick (15mins by train) followed by 10 mins on the bus to the offices.
