Role Overview & Responsibilities

Metal Beds Ltd t/a Wholesale Beds are a family run company, based in Stafford (5 minutes from Junction 14 of the M6).

The role is a full time permanent role, Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5pm.

We are looking for an experienced warehouse operative, with forklift qualification/licence and clean manual driving licence to carry out all aspects of warehouse operations.

The role includes:

• Loading and unloading of bedroom furniture & associated products
• Seeing in and checking all deliveries
• Manual stock control
• Distribution of goods.
• Unloading of 40ft containers manually
• Transporting goods to and collecting from our other warehouse just outside Stafford.

There will be some heavy lifting involved (up to 30kgs), and you should be physically fit.

A driving licence is essential; a forklift licence or qualification desirable but not essential.

Salary: £11.00 per hour
