An amazing and exciting opportunity has arisen within our wonderful Heathside, 42 place nursery based in Runcorn. Heathside boasts a fantastic, huge outdoor area. The nursery has a thriving full staff team, ready for an ambitious leader. Heathside Nursery is a good commute spot, 5 minutes off the M56.

As managers you have the full support to input your vision into the nursery setting.

Requirements

  • Minimum level 3 qualification in child care
  • At least 2 years experience in nursery management.
  • Able to demonstrate competence in meeting the developmental and emotional needs of the children
  • Hands on approach in the day to day childcare and willingness to lead by example
  • Strong customer focus and excellent interpersonal skills which meet and exceeds the expectations of the parents and the company.
  • Can work on own initiative by being self-motivated.
  • Ability to work within a wider team
  • Knowledge in health and hygiene regulations
  • Able to time manage self and team.
  • Have strong I.T skills and able to use or willingness to use multiple computerised systems.
  • Strong skills in literacy and numeracy

The role will include

  • The day to day running of the nursery
  • Ensuring Ofsted Statutory requirements are met.
  • Ensure safeguarding and welfare requirements are met at all times.
  • Assist in recruitment of staff
  • Support the development of existing and new staff within the setting.
  • Showing around prospective parents will be a vital aspect of your role
  • Being passionate and enthusiastic about the setting.
  • Managing and monitoring the occupancy of the setting using marketing techniques to promote the setting.
  • Effectively managing budgets.

Salary dependent on experience
