Job Description – Research Associate – Commodities – 4-month FTC

Based west of London

The role:
We are looking for a Research Associate on a fixed-term basis until summer 2023 to support the commodities team. This role will involve the following:

· Supporting analysts with data collection, market research and report writing

· Support the editorial team with report uploads, fact-checking and making sure all publications meet the proper standards

· Primary research - make phone calls to gather market insights

About you:

You will have the following:

• Demonstratable experience in research and qualitative and quantitative analysis of data

• Writing skills of a high standard

• Experience working with data and Microsoft Office, in particular Excel, and the ability to learn new applications

• Excellent attention to detail

• Excellent communication skills, including the ability to communicate complex issues in a clear, concise, and coherent manner

• Strong organisational and administration skills with the ability to work in a pressured environment and deliver work to set deadlines

• Strong interpersonal skills, both within Mintec and in client-facing situations

• Be a self-starter and be driven to achieve the best results
