Drivers Mate / Relief Van Driver

Role Overview & Responsibilities

Assisting driver with delivery duties.

This includes;

• Securing Loads
• Opening and closing of truck curtains
• Assisting driver when reversing
• Delivering potatoes using sack barrows and via hand ball
• completion of paperwork such as invoices and delivery notes
• cash handling
• face to face customer service

You will also be required to cover van drivers due to high demand, sickness or holidays.

previous experience driving 3.5t vans would be beneficial but not essential.

Due to the demands of this role, candidate must be physically fit.

Must have own transport sue to the location and varying start / finish times.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Zero hours contract

Salary: From £10.42 per hour

Schedule:

• Day shift
• Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Rugby: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Licence/Certification:

• Driving Licence (required)
