Location : Sheffield

Weekly Pay : £460

Working Hours : Monday to Thursday 06:30 - 16:15 overtime available on Friday at time and a half

The Client

Our client is the world-leader in high-pressure Gas and Hydrogen containment and have 125 years’ knowledge and experience with clients such as Ministry Of Defence (MOD), BOC and Naval.

Opportunity :

We require 3 Trainee Mechanical Fitters to join our client on a 20 week Temp to Perm basis.

Main Duties as a Trainee Mechanical Fitter :

• Striping trailers
• Refitting cylinders, valves and gauges
• Testing for leaks on highly pressurised cylinders
• refitting high pressurised cylinders (Gas or Hydrogen)
• Refurbing trailers
• Installing steel straps on to trailer
• Using various types of mechanical working tools
• Removal of external trailer chassis

Experience / Skills

• Ideally at NVQ Level 2 qualified (Mechanical Engineering) but not essential
• One Year+ Mechanical experience
• Industrial Tool knowledge
• Mechanical knowledge
• Happy to work on own initiative or as part of a team
• Self motivated
• Organised
• Pro active
• Hard Worker
