Supervisor

The Singl-end Cafe Bakehouse, has firmly established itself over recent years to be one of Glasgow’s most loved breakfast/brunch spots. Through attention to detail, consistent focus on customer service and ensuring the freshly prepared food is of the highest standards we have built up a good reputation and loyal customer base. We are looking to take on a supervisor who respects the work already done and can ensure all these standards are maintained and then to also strive to improve them further.

Knowledge of online booking diaries would be preferred but not essential.

Competitive hourly rate will be on offer as well as the advantage of great tips.

Actual hours of work are dependent on functions, bookings and customer timings, expect to work weekends, making up approx. 40-45 per week.

Job Role –

· Ensure the venue always delivers consistently high standards of service.

· Staff training.

· Dealing with table reservations (resdiary experience but not essential)

· Menu selection.

· Build and nurture a positive relationship with costumers.

· Handle and resolve feedback or issues as they arise.

· Create a positive team culture where all team members work together and support each other.

· Facilitate effective communications between departments.

Key Skills –

· Organisational ability, Great customer service

· Knowledge of food, cocktails and wines.

· Computer literate in Excel, word and email

· Personal License (helpful but not essential, training can be provided)

· Have a flexible attitude and the ability to adapt when required.

· Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with customers and employees at all levels.

· Self-motivated and able to work on own initiative within a team

Essential skills – Fluent English and right to work in UK.
