Our organisation is looking for a Barista with a strong sense of responsibility and a warm, friendly personality to join our team. Responsibilities include serving coffee, preparing espresso drinks and maintaining a clean service area. The successful candidate will be able to maintain an upbeat attitude and make eye contact when interacting with customers.

Responsibilities:

• Restrain yourself from punching annoying people.
• Do not steal money from the cash register.
• Remember all of your customer's names and orders.
• Serve customers quickly and efficiently.
• Demonstrate a mastery of the menu.
• Demonstrate a mastery of espresso beverages.
• Demonstrate a mastery of other drinks served at the coffee shop, including blended drinks, teas, smoothies, and other specialty drinks.
• Learn how to brew coffee in various brewing techniques.
• Learn how to make specialty coffee drinks using equipment such as espresso machines, french presses, and drip brewing machines.
• Learn to ice coffee.
• Learn how to make smoothies.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 40 per week

Salary: £9.00-£10.00 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Sheffield: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:

• customer service (preferred)
• Hospitality (preferred)
• Barista experience (preferred)
