Role Overview & Responsibilities

This is a lovely post for an outgoing person who enjoys long walks.

This young lady requires 24 hour care. She needs /has two to one for all exercises, bathing, hoisting, moving and handling. Thorough training is provided by parent s carers and professionals as required .

We help her to live her life to the fullness of her ability. As well as having a 3 times daily exercise regime ( with two carers) she loves to be out in her wheelchair. We are walking distance from the town where she is a frequent visitor and well known. She attends Church every week and normally enjoys her visits.

Each carer does 29 hours made up of 1 split shift 1 late shift and one (night shift after training and being/showing confidence and competence. We are funded by the CHC and are awaiting updates on the new rates of pay. Min of £10.43 ph but we do also have a work/task related bonus of 50p pr hour
