Position: Warehouse Operator

Salary: £25,200.00 per annum

Start Date: Immediate

Hours per week: Permanent, an average of 42 hours per week.

Shifts: 4 on 4 off consisting of 2 x 12 hours days, 2 x 12 hours nights x7 cycles then 18 days off

Location: Bridgend, CF34 9RS

Job Purpose

· To move merchandise from one place to another using the forklift in a safe manner, not only to the driver but to all whom comes into contact with the forklift and adhering to all PPE regulations within a particular area.

Accountabilities

· To load, unload, move and pack materials.

· Load and offload materials onto and off pallets.

· Ensure load is safe whilst transporting good around site.

· Observe and comply with quality, environment, health, and safety procedures.

· Carry out routine checks on the forklift and other devises.

· Report to Warehouse Team Leader and MSS Supervisor

· Carry out regular maintenance checks on the forklift.

· Pack and move different things other than products as per instructed by the Warehouse Team Leader or the MSS Supervisor.

· Keep working area in a tidy state and remove all empty pallets to rightful place.

· Recognise and report any faults mechanical or electrical issues.

· Moving pallets of products to and between warehouse racks

· Drivers must understand a warehouse forklift operator may have a varied day depending on the warehouse team leader’s priorities.

• Maesteg: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

Experience:

• Warehouse experience: 1 year (preferred)
• S20 Trained: 1 year (preferred)
• Knowledge of all Warehouse/Brooke activities: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

• Forklift Licence (preferred)
