
German Language Content Writer
Role Overview & Responsibilities
Summary
We are looking to hire a German Language Content Writer to join us in our mission to educate the world. In this role, you will be an integral member of a team creating the German language content which appears on our digital education platforms. A significant component of the job will be utilising your expertise to write audience-appropriate content for students learning German as an additional language. The advertised role is full-time (35 hours per week) at our UK office in Windsor, Berkshire.
Responsibilities
- Analyse textbooks and curricula to derive course structure and plan content
- Write and review vocabulary and sentence banks, exams, questions, answers, and other content to feature in our education platforms
- Write developmentally appropriate, well-structured, and pedagogically rich content aimed at students learning German as an additional language
- Suggest design changes and new features to better serve a language-learning audience
Qualifications & Work Experience
- An undergraduate degree or higher in German or Linguistics
- A minimum of 2 years of experience teaching German as an additional language or creating educational content in this area
- Strong command of both written and spoken English

Compensation
This is a full-time (35 hours a week) position based in our Windsor office. A gross annual salary of £33,000-£38,000 and 28 days leave exclusive of bank holidays.
