A brand new Nakanojo restaurant has opened in Marylebone London just 2 minutes from Selfridges.

We’re seeking amazing talent to join our thriving team! We have a further 4 locations opening in London within the next 12 months and we’re looking for great energy, passion and skilled team members to join our crusade!

We’re seeking an an experienced sushi chef within the restaurant/hospitality industry.

The successful candidate will be responsible for creating high-quality sushi dishes in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. We have a great career paths for our back of house team with the ability of working your way up the ladder to running your own kitchen team.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and create various types of sushi dishes to order
• Ensure that all food is prepared in a timely and efficient manner
• Monitor and maintain inventory levels of ingredients and supplies
• Ensure that all food safety and sanitation guidelines are followed
• Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth and efficient service
• Keep up to date with current culinary trends and techniques

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Sushi Chef
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent knife skills
• Knowledge of various sushi types and preparation methods
• Ability to maintain a clean and organized work station
• Food safety and sanitation knowledge
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
