Role Overview & Responsibilities

Job Title: Team Member

Department: National Cylinder Testing

Reporting to: Production Supervisor, National Cylinder Testing

Main Purpose of Job:

· To Operate Equipment and Machinery as directed to facilitate the operations of National Cylinder Testing.

Key Tasks:

· To ensure cylinders are received into the facility, identified and sorted according to operational requirements.

· Movement of cylinders through the facility as required

· De-valving of cylinders

· Assistance in operation of the proof test equipment under supervision of the Production Supervisor as required.

· Operation of the drying equipment

· Operation of the external shot blast line

· Operation of the paint line

· Dispatch of cylinders in the correct order as required

· Operation of the straddle carrier including offloading, movement, storage and loading of ISO tanks as required.

· Maintain inspection, batch processing and other records associated with each process.

Responsibilities:

· To work in a safe and effective manner, following the company’s Health and Safety policies and procedures, helping with risk assessments and safety reviews as required.

· To work as directed by the Production Supervisor or Operations and Compliance Manager to ensure the efficient and effective flow of cylinders through the facility

· Accurate recording of results of each process steps as required, highlighting any deficiencies or potential issues to the quality inspector / technical department.

· To contribute to procedure reviews and quality system as required.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: £12.00-£12.50 per hour
