Media and Events Coordinator (March 2023)
Role Overview & Responsibilities
The Engagement Department is looking for a Media and Events Coordinator for an 18-month contract. Working between the media and events teams, you will help devise an exciting events and PR programme to attract new audiences to the Library. Your work in the media team will involve promoting events, other public programmes activity, and all kinds of other newsworthy topics.
We’re looking for someone who understands the Library’s ambitions to reach new and diverse audiences, including amplifying underrepresented voices and perspectives. This will be your focus across events and media work. We want someone with an understanding of the media and news landscape, a keen interest in culture, current affairs, and the ability to navigate the myriad issues and opportunities that will come your way.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to grow as a cultural producer or media professional.
