Operations Manager

Location: Head Office (Coleshill) - No remote working

Work Shift: 5 days per week, Monday-Friday (40 hours)

Salary: £45,000-£50,000 (dependent on experience) + bonus

We are looking for an Operations Manager for our new National Distribution Centre in Hams Hall, Coleshill. The successful candidate will support the SMT in the smooth running of the business operations. The main focus of this role will be people management in the Transport and Warehouse functions.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the logistics and warehouse administration end to end
• Manage company Health and Safety & all compliance to ensure all policies are adhered to
• Develop, implement and review operational policies and procedures, to define KPIs to measure progress and success
• Help promote a company culture that encourages top performance and high morale
• The main focus of this role will be people management in the Transport and Warehouse functions.
• Improve efficiencies within the business end to end
• Work with SMT and other third parties
• Creating and embedding standard operating procedures across the business

Requirements:

• Must have 3 years + experience of managing logistics and warehouse operations efficiently and should be from a warehousing/logistics domain
• Must have 3 years + experience in leadership
• Must have exceptional attention to detail and the ability to prioritise
• Must be loyal, honest and diligent
• Must have conflict resolution skills
• Excellent communication skills

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £45,000.00-£50,000.00 per year
