Role Overview & Responsibilities

We are seeking a skilled and talented individual with expertise in hand embroidery, sewing and sewing machine operation to join our team on a part time basis. This position may become full time in the future and offers flexible working hours, allowing you to balance your personal commitments while gaining valuable experience in a creative and dynamic environment.

Responsibilities:

- Most importantly to demonstrate hand embroidery skills.

- Perform various sewing tasks, including but not limited to garment construction, alterations, and repairs.

- Operate sewing machines proficiently and maintain their functionality.

- Collaborate with the design team to ensure accurate execution of embroidery designs and patterns.

- Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and make any necessary adjustments.

- Follow established production schedules and meet deadlines.

Requirements:

- Proven experience in sewing, using a sewing machine, and hand embroidery techniques.

- Proficiency in operating different types of sewing machines and equipment.

- Strong hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.

- Ability to read and interpret patterns, designs, and instructions.

- Familiarity with different fabrics and sewing techniques.

- Creative flair and ability to bring unique ideas to the embroidery process.

- Excellent time management skills and ability to work independently.

- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and tasks.

- Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.

Location: Swallowcliffe
