Role Overview & Responsibilities

New Start Counselling Service are recruiting Level 4+ qualified counsellors to work in schools across Lancashire, particularly in the Fylde, Blackpool and Wyre areas.

Our New Start team of 23 qualified counsellors, continues to expand and we have more contracted schools requesting our support.

We are looking for that special counsellor who would like to be a part of a successful, happy and rapidly expanding dynamic team.

We work in schools across Lancashire, supporting children, young people and staff through a wide range of issues via one-to-one counselling and group work.

It is essential that you have a professional work ethic, reliable, passionate about working with children and young people and willing to go above and beyond. While we can often make arrangements that suit your geography, flexibility and a willingness to travel to appointments are necessary. (Travel will be involved, a good rate of travel cost will be paid).

We want the best, hence our introductory rate of pay is extremely competitive, £30, 784 FTE (NB this job is part time, term time, so the salary is pro rata).
