Drycleaning/laundry assistant

Role Overview & Responsibilities

This is an independent, busy business that requires our small team to work together and as such we need the successful applicant to cover all aspects of our service offering.

You will be an effective and pleasant customer facing individual who is comfortable dealing with customers.

The successful applicant will carry out all duties expected within a small dry cleaners including laundry, ironing, folding. This involves operating washing machines, tumble dryers and steam irons.

You will often handle large, heavy loads so this can be a physically demanding job at times. Often while having to meet deadlines to meet our high standards of service.

Experience is preferred but not necessary. However it would help your application.

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 16-20 per week

Salary: £10.40 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Edinburgh, EH4 1HH: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

Shift availability:

• Day shift (preferred)
