Role Overview & Responsibilities

(Please note the salary is Pro Rata) for part time hours.

Our team aseptically prepare over 50,000 injectable medicine doses per year from our state of the art aseptic suite at the Royal Hospital for Children in Glasgow. Our team take great pride in delivering critical medicines across Greater Glasgow & Clyde. We currently have an opportunity for an enthusiastic Pharmacy Technician to join our team of 3'8 which is made up of support workers, technicians and pharmacists. This hands-on role involves dispensing of Parenteral Nutrition, IV additives, Chemotherapy and Clinical Trials for both adults and children. In addition you will be able to participate in batch manufacturing under the terms of an MHRA specials' license and compounding using state-of-the-art automation. Previous hospital experience is not essential as full training will be given. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team. This is a full-time post- 37.5 hours per week over five days.
