Role Overview & Responsibilities

(Please note the salary is Pro Rata) for part time hours.

To provide a quality domestic service to the hospital or CHP premises, ensuring that a clean and safe environment is maintained for patients, staff and visitors following agreed cleaning work schedules, methods and procedures in accordance with NHS Scotland National Cleaning Specification and Healthcare Acquired Infection (HAI) Task Force Code of Practice. Domestics are required to rotate round all Wards Clinical areas and depts within hospital. May be required to provide a food and beverage service for patients in adherence with Food Safety Regulations.

The shift pattern for these posts are

14 hours, Sat/Sun 0730-1500/30

35 hours, 0730-1430 Monday to Friday

15 hours, 1700-2000 Monday to Friday

15hours, 0600-0900 Mon - Fri

13 hours, 0730-1400 Saturday/Sunday

12 hours, 0800-1400 Saturday/Sunday

6 hours, 1700-2000 Saturday/Sunday
