Health care Assistant, Band 2

An opportunity has arisen for Health Care Assistants to join the Perth and Kinross Specialist Palliative Services team based at Cornhill Macmillan Centre, PRI. You will be required to work in the main within the In Patient Unit with the ability to work regularly in the Day Services Department.

Previous experience of working in a health or social care environment is desirable but not essential. A willingness to work towards or evidence of Scottish Vocational Qualification Level 2/3 or Health Care Support Worker training is desirable. Ongoing education and training will be required to ensure role development and a high standard of care is delivered to patients and carers.

You will be required to achieve the mandatory Induction standards for Healthcare Support Workers in Scotland and to comply with the Code of Conduct throughout your employment.
