Maternity Department Summer Student


Band 2 Salary £23,362 – £25,368 pro rata

Plus Distant Islands Allowance of £1,279 pro rata

37.5 hours per week

Fixed Term Summer Period 3-4 months

Maternity Services in the Western Isles Hospital are looking for an enthusiastic and highly motivated individual to work within the Maternity Team as a Summer Student for a period of approximately 3 to 4 months.

There will be an opportunity to observe care in areas relating to pregnancy and care of the newborn babies

This placement would be suitable for those that are studying for Midwifery or a Nursing post.

It is essential that you can maintain confidentiality as you will be dealing with sensitive, personal information.
