Role Overview & Responsibilities

This is an exciting opportunity to join The NHS Prison Healthcare Service which provides a full range of Health Care to patients within the prison population. We works alongside our colleagues in the Scottish Prison Service as well as many other partner agencies to improve the physical and mental health and wellbeing of prisoners. The post holder is operationally responsible and professionally accountable to the Nurse Team Leader and will support them in managing a team of nurses and healthcare support staff to ensure the effective utilisation of resources. This includes supporting the effective deployment of the nursing manpower resource, as well as the effective management of health centre supplies.
