Role Overview & Responsibilities
Working within CT, MRI, Flouroscopy, Nuclear Medicine and Ultrasound, our HCAs directly assist with multiple radiological interventions, in a busy but friendly department. You will work with radiologists, radiographers, sonographers, nurses and other members of the multidisciplinary team, and rotate between all specialities once fully trained.We are looking for a skilled and motivated Senior Healthcare Assistant to join our team on a fixed term contract.
All speciality training is provided, but previous experience in an acute, outpatient or surgical setting would be a distinct advantage.
We work cross site between Southmead and Cossham Hospital, with the majority of our work happening in Gate 18 of the state of the art Brunel Building at Southmead, with all shifts worked between Monday and Friday.

- Level 3 Qualification in Healthcare
- Directly assisting with procedures across imaging.
- Intravenous cannulation
- IT skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Performing physiological observations and reporting findings to registered practitioners.
- Ability to work with limited supervision.
