Role Overview & Responsibilities

Job Title: Site Assistant

Contract: Permanent

Grade/Salary:
Grade 3, £20,812 - £21,575 FTE

Hours of Work:
15 hours per week

Working pattern is alternate weeks

Week 1 – 6.30am – 9:30am Monday to Friday

Week 2 – 3.30pm – 6.30pm Monday to Friday

(with some flexibility for cover arrangements and school activities)

Description:
St. Hugh’s School is a well-resourced, purpose built school for students aged 11 to 19 years with moderate/severe learning difficulties/profound and multiple learning needs, many of whom have additional needs, ASD and complex medical needs. We are an outstanding school as inspected by Ofsted September 2018.

The Governors and staff of this popular, friendly and highly respected school wish to appoint a committed, enthusiastic, team player to provide support to the premises management of the school.

You will be a key holder and will be responsible for opening and closing school on an alternate week basis. You will be responsible for helping to maintain a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the school premises. Basic maintenance, assisting with compliance checks when necessary. Training will be provided.

Previous experience in a school environment would be an advantage but is not essential.
