Role Overview & Responsibilities

We are seeking to recruit a Ward Managers Assistant for a part time position. Are you someone who enjoys a challenge and able to work as part of a large team whilst being able to work under your own initiative and are you looking to work in a fast paced healthcare setting? Then this role may be for you.

  • To provide a non-clinical support service to the Senior Nurses, Sisters and Charge Nurses
  • To perform all allocated clerical and administrative tasks required to meet the needs of the service
  • To undergo training as necessary to meet the needs of new developments within the service

  • Support the smooth running of the department in relation to non-clinical work.
  • Respond to enquiries from other wards/departments (personal, written and telephone)
ensuring good communication and appropriate response.
  • Assist in ensuring all clinical and non-clinical supplies are resourced in a timely
manner.
  • The ability to demonstrate initiative and tact and to maintain confidentiality is essential
at all times
