Junior Designer

Role Overview & Responsibilities

We are looking for a Junior Designer to work remotely for a London based PR Agency.

We have a new and exciting opportunity for a talented Junior Designer to be part of our creative team, designing and developing assets for our global brands.

We are looking for a creative who is passionate about design and can bring ideas to life in a positive and collaborative atmosphere.

The ideal creative would have a keen eye for detail and a commercial edge to their designs. You will work on a broad range of projects from digital, video creation, email campaigns and social media/web graphics, through to print and marketing materials. We are looking for someone who constantly strives for best in class designs and keeps up to date with the latest trends.

Your role will involve:

• Exploring creative concepts and sharing with the team or creative lead

• Creating social media graphics and banners (static and animated)

• Designing within client brand guidelines

• Designing and tidying of PowerPoint presentations

• Developing brand campaigns for TV, OOH, print and social

• Digital adverts for social platforms and websites

• Video editing

• Resizing and retouching of assets

• Brochure design

• Animation

What we are looking for:

• 6 months – 1 year experience

• 2:1 or above obtained at Bachelor level in a design related field or great work experience

• An impressive portfolio or showreel showcasing your best design work, we want to see examples of good technical skills, intelligent design thinking and creative prowess

• Strong attention to detail

• Strong presentation design skills

• Excellent communication skills

• Used to meeting tight deadlines and managing several projects at once

• A resilient positive outlook

• An ambitious quick learner with a can do attitude

Technical Skills:

• Highly proficient in the Adobe Creative Suite particularly Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign

• Must have experience designing PowerPoints

• Premiere Pro and After Effects for animation/video editing are desirable

• Wordpress/Webflow would be great, but not essential

• Photo retouching skills using Photoshop

Compensation and benefits:

Details on application. Salary range up to £30K for the right person.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £20,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
