Pharmacy Assistant

Role Overview & Responsibilities

We are looking for a full-time (32+ hours per week) Counter and Dispensary Assistant to join our team in our busy pharmacy in Sutton.

The role will include:

- Carry out dispensing duties under the supervision of the Pharmacist manager

- Ensure all prescriptions are dispensed accurately and in a timely manner

- Respond appropriately to customer needs, politely and efficiently, by asking appropriate questions, following the Standard Operating Procedures for Sale of Medicines and Supporting Self-care.

- To maintain the pharmacy to a high standard.

- To monitor stock levels and adapt orders appropriately.

- Be willing to undertake the relevant training in Pharmacy Services if necessary

- Be able to deliver excellent customer service and work as part of a team

- Must be flexible to cover other employees` holiday hours (shared between the team)

We are looking for a team player with good communication and interpersonal skills, attention to detail, highly organised and be passionate about helping people. There will be an opportunity to take part in our excellent training and development programme so that you are confident in providing expert advice on our medicines, professional services and general healthcare.

Previous experience is not required, full training will be given.
