Software Engineer in Test

Our established client is currently looking to recruit a Software Engineer in Test on a permanent basis, working on a hybrid basis.

The successful candidate will have previous experience as a Software Developer or Software Engineer in Test, will be confident developing test automation frameworks and will have worked with C#. Within the role you will be writing test scenarios and end to end tests for a complex system, collaborate with Developers and Product Owners and ensure adequate automated and manual testing is in place to go into production.

Key duties

• Ensure that software has sufficient test coverage before being deployed into production systems
• Collaborate with the product team to understand product requirements
• Translate requirements to test scenarios
• Collaborate with the software team to ensure the developers have produced enough code coverage
• Drive the automation testing in the pipeline
• Produce an end-to-end testing framework

The ideal candidate will have experience working with the below, however all aren’t essential –

• C#
• Software testing tools – Postman / Selenium / Playwright
• CI/CD pipelines
• Different test types – unit, integration, functional, end to end etc.
