Role Overview & Responsibilities

Oatlands Park Hotel are currently on a drive to set the standards of excellence in the luxury sector of the hotel industry. Located in a stunning setting in Weybridge the hotel employs almost one hundred of the most skilled, professional and dedicated people that the industry has to offer. We understand that every Guest is unique and our team strives to create individual moments of service excellence for our business and leisure travelers.

We are now seeking a Reservations Agent to join our amazing team.

Our Reservations Agent is responsible for handling a range of booking enquiries over the telephone and email, doing this in a prompt, friendly and professional manner. You will demonstrate the highest attention to detail when performing reservations tasks and recognize Sales leads and potential business.

You will also:

· Ensure that all telephone and email enquiries are dealt with in a friendly and professional manner

· Be aware of current and future availability on a daily basis, as well as any selling strategy proposed by Revenue with its restrictions

· Be up to date with all short and long term promotions available at the hotel

· Be fully familiar with the hotel facilities and services and to promote these whenever possible

· Prioritize any correspondence from the day before and from external guests and clients to ensure efficient customer service

· Be fully conversant with all systems and computer procedures which are reservations related

· Generate and deliver daily reports to ensure a timely and accurate communication of the revenue figures

· Manage group reservations and ensure group information and rooms inventory are accurate and balanced at all times

Success Criteria:

• Previous experience of a similar role would be an advantage
• Candidates living in the area or owner drivers living in a radius of no more than 30 miles from hotel would be preferable
• A positive "can do attitude" is essential
• A willingness to learn and follow hotel procedure is essential
• The ability to work without supervision
